In exercise science, you’ll examine the physiological, mechanical, and psychological aspects of physical activity, sport, and health-related behaviors. Explore the different facets of human performance, including human physiology, anatomy, metabolic and muscular systems, and research and testing protocols. Then, use electives to jump into your unique interests—you can even minor in areas such as disability studies, sports management, nutrition, or coaching.
You may incur additional costs in the course of your education at the University over and above tuition fees in an academic year such as laptops, study materials and additional resources.
Exercise science offers a natural sciences degree track suitable for all students interested in allied health and sport related professions.
Exercise science faculty are research leaders in their fields.
The B.S. offers experiential learning opportunities, including in faculty labs, professional internships, and study abroad.
The International Year One is the perfect pathway if you want a undergraduate degree from a UK, EU or US University but do not meet the requirements for direct entry.
The IY1 course provides an intensive combination of first year University subject modules with English language skills.
Following successful completion of the IY1 you will continue onto your second year degree study directly with the University of your choice.

Progressing students into Syracuse University receive the following merit awards for each
subsequent year of enrollment based on the cumulative GPA earned upon the completion of the 30 credit hours:
• A GPA between 3.25 and 3.49 is $10,000 per year
• A GPA between 3.5 and 3.74 is $15,000 per year
• A GPA greater than 3.75 is $20,000 per year
