The four-year bachelor of music (B.M.) degree program in music industry will help you develop a high level of music competency while learning about the theoretical and practical activities of the music business. Qualified sophomores have the option of applying to the master of business administration (MBA) program in Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management, thus completing a five-year, double degree.
Learn to analyze current trends in the music industry and understand their implications.
Become familiar with professional music organizations.
Develop the ability to conceptualize solutions to various industry problems and the knowledge to put them into practice.
The International Year One is the perfect pathway if you want a undergraduate degree from a UK, EU or US University but do not meet the requirements for direct entry.
The IY1 course provides an intensive combination of first year University subject modules with English language skills.
Following successful completion of the IY1 you will continue onto your second year degree study directly with the University of your choice.

Progressing students into Syracuse University receive the following merit awards for each
subsequent year of enrollment based on the cumulative GPA earned upon the completion of the 30 credit hours:
• A GPA between 3.25 and 3.49 is $10,000 per year
• A GPA between 3.5 and 3.74 is $15,000 per year
• A GPA greater than 3.75 is $20,000 per year
