The International Year One (IY1) is the first of a three-year undergraduate programme taught at the University of Greenwich International College (UGIC).
The International Year One programme provides an intensive combination of first-year university subject modules with extra study and English language skills.
Your first year is taught at UGIC and once successfully completed, you will continue studying the remaining stages of your degree directly with the University of Greenwich. During the IY1 you will:

As well as modules unique to your specific pathway, you will also study several modules that are common to all pathways.
This module aims to help you achieve the equivalent of IELTS 6.0 (with no skill below 5.5) for continuation to further study at University of Greenwich. Through this course, you will be made aware of the critical importance of English competence in the context of your ongoing academic studies.
This course aims to develop and strengthen your understanding of business and management and the application of business principles in a corporate environment.
This course aims to develop and strengthen your understanding of engineering and apply mechanical, electronic and mathematical principles in business.
