This degree programme immerses you in the world of creative business thinking, helping you to prepare for employment after university whether you want to launch your own business or change an existing organisation. On this course you will learn and develop your entrepreneurial and creative skills and apply them to real-world situations.

Taught by lecturers and academic professionals with industry experience, this course will hone your key competences as you study core topics that cut across business and entrepreneurial practice. In your second and third years you can choose from a range of optional modules, enabling you to tailor your learning to your interests.

Throughout this course you will gain practical experience with a real business through the Consulting Live module and have the chance to take part in Fox’s Lair – our annual contest for entrepreneurs. It focuses on teamwork, project management, research, communication and problem solving – all skills in demand by employers.

Study Reasons

The course offers and gives the opportunity to experience working with real companies as a consultant. As part of a team, you will visit a client and then present them with solutions to issues affecting their business.

In this course you will be given the chance to pitch a business idea to real-life entrepreneurs, with the chance to win a great prize, through our annual  Fox’s Lair  competition for first-year students

Employers are now looking for graduates who possess the types of enterprising skills and attitudes taught on this course, enabling them to be successful across a range of different environments and contexts.

Your Pathways

The International Foundation Certificate (IFC) is the first year of the four year undergraduate course. IFC is designed to help you gain extra skills in your subject area, as well as English Language, before you continue to year one of your chosen University undergraduate degree course.

Following successful completion of the IFC,  you will continue onto Year One of your degree directly with the University of your choice.

The International Year One is the perfect pathway if you want a undergraduate degree from a UK, EU or US University but do not meet the requirements for direct entry.

The IY1 course provides an intensive combination of first year University subject modules with English language skills.

Following successful completion of the IY1 you will continue onto your second year degree study directly with the University of your choice.

The International Year Zero is the first year of the four year undergraduate course. IYZ is designed to help you gain extra skills in your subject area, as well as English Language, before you continue to year one of your chosen University undergraduate degree course.

Following successful completion of the IYZ, you will continue onto Year One of your degree directly with the University of your choice.
