On this course you will explore the fundamentals of electrical and electronic engineering, including electrical circuits, control and instrumentation, electromagnetic waves, and communication networks design.

This course will also give you the opportunity about pioneering approaches in this field and how to apply these to real-world problems. A project in a subject of your choice will help develop your professional skills through modules designed to prepare you for a successful career in engineering.

Engineering students are also provided safety boots and protective headwear in addition to lab coats and non-prescription safety glasses. Students would be expected to pay for their own prescription safety glasses (approx. £90+) if they choose to purchase them.

The International Year One is the perfect pathway if you want a undergraduate degree from a UK, EU or US University but do not meet the requirements for direct entry.

The IY1 course provides an intensive combination of first year University subject modules with English language skills.

Following successful completion of the IY1 you will continue onto your second year degree study directly with the University of your choice.

The International Year Zero is the first year of the four year undergraduate course. IYZ is designed to help you gain extra skills in your subject area, as well as English Language, before you continue to year one of your chosen University undergraduate degree course.

Following successful completion of the IYZ, you will continue onto Year One of your degree directly with the University of your choice.
