This means that applicants will normally already have studied some psychology at undergraduate level in a previous degree course and now wish to undertake further study in order to allow the opportunity for specialisation in psychology in the future. This is therefore the first step towards further postgraduate training for those wanting to pursue a professional career in Psychology. You will be given the opportunity to engage in practical work and will use the extensive psychological laboratory provision in the Division of Psychology. You will also be given the opportunity to engage in advanced theoretical debates relevant to the understanding of contemporary issues in society.
