Economics at Greenwich aims to provide you with the intellectual abilities and analytical tools to understand, analyse and act upon the most challenging issues of our time. We believe economics must help to build and provide more equitably share prosperity, create meaningful employment, and ensure the transition to a carbon-neutral future. We have responded to calls from students and industry alike to change the way we do economics: we are a national leader in applied real-world economics that learns from history and embraces diversity. Our BSc Economics degree gives you the option to specialise in finance after your first year, or you can continue in the standard degree programme. In your time with us you will gain the knowledge and skills essential for either graduate employment or post-graduate study. Our graduates have pursued successful careers in industry, finance, the civil service, NGOs, research and education.

Your Pathways

The International Year Zero is the first year of the four year undergraduate course. IYZ is designed to help you gain extra skills in your subject area, as well as English Language, before you continue to year one of your chosen University undergraduate degree course.

Following successful completion of the IYZ, you will continue onto Year One of your degree directly with the University of your choice.

Oxford International offers a number of scholarship opportunities for students applying for an academic course under the Core Scholarship. The scholarships are targeted at different regions around the world, awards range from partial contribution towards tuition fees to awards covering part or full pathway course fees at the international college.
