The Whitman School’s business analytics program allows students to become well-versed in all facets and business applications of data and analytics. Our strategically designed curriculum arms students with the skills needed to collate and manage data from disparate sources, draw insights from data, and effectively communicate these insights to inform business decisions across a wide range of contexts.

Students can meet and network with students and professionals who share their business and entrepreneurial interest. With approximately 17 student clubs and organizations, ranging from the Whitman Women at Whitman to the Real Estate Club, Whitman students are provided a chance to learn from professionals and demonstrate field leadership capabilities.
Each semester dedicated staff and faculty work closely with alumni, donors and industry partners to create and facilitate experiential programming that bridges the gap between classroom learning and practical application — all while expanding job placement opportunities and helping students build meaningful connections.
The International Year One is the perfect pathway if you want a undergraduate degree from a UK, EU or US University but do not meet the requirements for direct entry.
The IY1 course provides an intensive combination of first year University subject modules with English language skills.
Following successful completion of the IY1 you will continue onto your second year degree study directly with the University of your choice.

Progressing students into Syracuse University receive the following merit awards for each
subsequent year of enrollment based on the cumulative GPA earned upon the completion of the 30 credit hours:
• A GPA between 3.25 and 3.49 is $10,000 per year
• A GPA between 3.5 and 3.74 is $15,000 per year
• A GPA greater than 3.75 is $20,000 per year
