Whitman’s management major will be your first step in a career that will make you think strategically, honing your natural leadership skills with respect to managing people, learning to analyze firm strategies and industry dynamics and understanding the evolving global environment in order to address multi-faceted business challenges. Courses in personnel and organizational behavior, along with strategic management and law, will prepare you to guide organizations and the people within them.

The International Year One is the perfect pathway if you want a undergraduate degree from a UK, EU or US University but do not meet the requirements for direct entry.
The IY1 course provides an intensive combination of first year University subject modules with English language skills.
Following successful completion of the IY1 you will continue onto your second year degree study directly with the University of your choice.

Progressing students into Syracuse University receive the following merit awards for each
subsequent year of enrollment based on the cumulative GPA earned upon the completion of the 30 credit hours:
• A GPA between 3.25 and 3.49 is $10,000 per year
• A GPA between 3.5 and 3.74 is $15,000 per year
• A GPA greater than 3.75 is $20,000 per year
