The Computer Science (Cyber Security) conversion course will give you the opportunity to establish a foundation in cyber security from technical and multidisciplinary perspectives. This is a conversion course intended for graduates with little or no prior knowledge of computer science.

Cybercrime is a growing threat to society, democracy and organisations with increasing high profile cyber security cases in the news. This conversion course has been designed to meet the demands of organisations seeking to protect valuable data. This course will provide you with the key skills and knowledge in computer science and systems security to enhance your career prospects in identifying and solving complex security problems.

Your Pathways

The Pre Masters Program will prepare you for the UK, EU or US study system, giving you the confidence and skills that you’ll need to go further in your studies. Depending on your academic qualification and English language level and chosen programme, you can study the IIM over one or two terms.

Scholarships

We can offer you up to £4,500 off tuition of your pathway programme.

Please note you’ll have to apply for a pathway scholarship and only a selection of students will be awarded.  For more information on the scholarships we offer to international students please contact us.

2024/25: All international students will receive 16% of University of Kent tuition fees per year, for students moving into a degree from all our pathway routes. These are available for students from all countries and are automatic on application. For more information please contact admissions or your in-country representative.
