Why study the International Foundation Year?

The IFY will prepare you for the first year of your undergraduate degree. It’s made up of several core and subject-specific modules that will give you a greater understanding of your chosen subject area. The skills you develop through this programme will help you in your chosen degree, in your future career, and in all aspects of life.

Why study this course

You can choose to join the IFY programme either in January or September.

If you don’t currently meet the English language level and academic skills for direct entry onto a undergraduate degree, then you may need to study the IFY programme. Once you successfully complete the programme, you can progress to your chosen degree at the university.
