The International Foundation provided by Oxford International is a focused foundation pathway to the University of Dundee.

The programme is taught during your first year of study to prepare you for your undergraduate degree with the required academic and English language skills.

On successful completion you will have a guaranteed place with the University of Dundee and will continue the remaining stages of your degree.

During the three terms encapsulating the International Foundation course you will:

Course English Language Requirement
International Foundation IELTS (UKVI) score of 4.5 overall, with minimum individual scores of 4.0 in Listening and Speaking and 4.5 in Writing and Reading.

Common modules

This module will develop your reading, writing, speaking and listening abilities.  You will apply your English language through activities such as critical reading, presentations, and academic writing.

This module is an opportunity to develop academic and transferable skills through research into a specific topic.  You will learn about literature review, research methods, analysis, and ethics.

This module enables international students to engage with critical reflection on their learning style, and the skills, knowledge and crucially the cultural aspects related to their Higher Education studies.
