Pre-Masters (International Incorporated Masters)

Our Pre-Master’s programme (IIM) is available for one or two terms, and its main goal is to equip you with the necessary English language skills required for completing your postgraduate study at the University of Kent. On completing the programme successfully, you will be able to continue your postgraduate degree course at the University of Kent.

This programme is specially designed for students who are not eligible for direct entry to the master’s programmes at the University due to various reasons such as lower grades in your bachelor’s degree, your qualifications not being equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree, or having a different academic background.

This module will further develop the written, oral and digital skills required for effective study at postgraduate level in the UK. You will consider learning strategies; reflect on your own practice; and develop skills to help you work effectively in groups, appreciating the relevance of such transferable skills to both your academic studies and future employability.
